Why Uganda?

58:12 Uganda is transforming lives in Nakifuma, one vulnerable child and family at a time. Rooted in Isaiah 58:12—”rebuilding ancient ruins and restoring the streets where God’s people may dwell in His love and abundance”—we provide safe shelter, education, and compassionate care. Our journey began with a vision to build a home for a local grandmother and children in need. Since then, that home has become a haven for over 15 individuals, and our ministry has expanded to include vital education sponsorships and a vibrant monthly Kids Club outreach, sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ. Join us in rebuilding lives and restoring hope in Uganda.

How We're Serving

Education

In partnership with a Christian school in the community we serve, our education program is creating a new generation of leaders by providing vulnerable children with access to quality education and holistic support. Empowering children to break free from the limitations of their circumstances and pursue their dreams. We invest in their future through academics, sports, and comprehensive care, including medical assistance, basic needs, counseling, spiritual guidance, and in some cases, emergency shelter. Join us in making a lasting difference.

Safe Shelter

In 2018, a home was built and continues to be a place of shelter for Robina and the children that come through her doors. It is estimated she has watched over 50 grandchildren in her lifetime and at least 12 since since 2018.

Care

We’re answering God’s call to care for vulnerable women and children, providing essential support and empowering able individuals to build sustainable, independent lives. We believe in equipping them with the tools and training they need to thrive, breaking the cycle of vulnerability and creating brighter futures. “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” – James 1:27

Kids Club Outreach

Every month, an average of 100 kids from all family and religious backgrounds gather in our safe space to hear, learn and practice the word of God. Making disciples for Jesus is a major core of the mission at 58:12 Global and we cant see a better way other than reaching the little children.

Sustainability

We have clear vision for partial and eventual full self sustainability as a ministry as well as for the individuals we serve. We are currently building our first sustainability projects- a pig and chicken farm- and we are on track to launch our first water well, storage and station to serve our safe shelter, upcoming pig and chicken farm and a whole community with clean water. us build our very first

Community Centre

58:12 Uganda envisions building a first-of-its-kind community center in Uganda to serve vulnerable populations. This transformative hub will offer social, educational, economic, and spiritual development through outreach programs, workshops, and events. The center will include a public library, classrooms, sports fields, and space for kid’s clubs, fostering education, mentorship, and holistic well-being. It will also equip local church leaders to better serve their communities, acting as a catalyst for positive change. Request full proposal here.
